Another successful quiz night! The final total raised was £677 which will be used to support our Moments Sessions. Thank you to everyone who came along and took part, our volunteers and to the businesses and individuals that donated raffle prizes.
The magnificent Marcus Martin raised an amazing £445 at his Morning Melodies concert at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church in Worthing and has donated this to Know Dementia. Thank you Marcus and to all those people who supported this very entertaining concert.
Yesterday our 12th Memory Moments Café was opened by the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex at the Bevy in the city of Brighton and Hove. It’s our first Café in the city and we hope it will lead to more opening there in the near future. The venue for this Café, the Bevy, is special in that it was the first community owned estate pub in the UK so we are excited to be using this fabulous venue for our Café. The mayor of Brighton, along with many other supporters of the café, joined us for a very successful opening.
