Quiz Night Success!

Thank you to everyone who came to the quiz night on Friday and/or donated raffle prizes. We’ve raised £503 to help local people with dementia which is a fantastic amount. As you can see a good evening was had by all.

Christmas Extravaganza 2015!

What a fantastic time was had by all at our Christmas Extravaganza on Sunday afternoon. Just take a look at some of the photos captured to see what fun we had. Thank you again to everyone who came and supported the event.

Thank you to everyone that supported this event last night, particularly the ladies who volunteered to model the clothes at the show. We will update you soon on how much money was raised and hope that everyone had a good time.

Jazzled Choir Update!

The Jazzled Choir started back today after the summer break and welcomed some new members. After the usual warm up of the vocal chords, the choir went on to sing several songs, which included “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”. Well done to everyone –  you sounded fantastic!

Sporting Moments Update

IMG_0573A few snapshots taken at our popular Sporting Moments session today. Plenty of variety of activity as you can see from the pics, even archery!   Lots of fun!


Next Monday Steve  is organising 10 circuits for everyone to enjoy, along with the usual bit of friendly competition. Afterwards, as always, the usual get together for lunch and a chance to chat.

The session is currently FREE and open to anyone with dementia and their supporter.  If you wish to join in, come along to Southwater Leisure Centre on Mondays from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.  Bring a packed lunch if you wish to join the group for lunch afterwards.  Any enquiries, please ring Know Dementia 01273 494300
