Volunteers Memory Moments Cafés

Can you help? We are looking for volunteers who can assist our Café Co-ordinators at our busy Memory Moments Cafés. Duties might include welcoming café attendees, making and serving teas, coffees & refreshments, helping with the activity of the week (changes each week – music, dance, crafts, quizzes etc.) and helping to tidy up at the end of the session.
Our groups are fun, friendly and inclusive. The role of volunteer is rewarding and enjoyable.
We require volunteers at the following locations;

Uckfield: Mondays 1.00pm – 5.00pm
Eastbourne: Tuesdays 1.00pm – 5.00pm
Hastings: Wednesdays 9.00am – 1.00pm
Seaford: Wednesdays 1.00pm – 5.00pm
Heathfield: Thursdays: 1.30pm – 5.30pm

Volunteers Woodland Moments

We are looking for a volunteer(s) to assist our Woodland Moments Manager on Monday mornings from 9.00am – 1.00pm at Bushy Wood, Hailsham. The role would suit someone who has an interest in nature, the great outdoors, gardening, woodcraft or outdoor cooking. The group is friendly, welcoming and inclusive, and is organised for people living with dementia and their care partner to attend together. There is some flexibility to assist as a volunteer on alternate weeks if you cannot commit to every week.
